Novak Djokovic has signed a management deal with IMG, just a few months after his contract with Creative Artists Agency had expired. IMG also represents Maria Sharapova and Rafael Nadal.
Djokovic was No. 61 on Forbes’ list of the world’s highest-paid athletes, with $20.6 million in prize money and sponsorships, but he is still well below No. 2 Roger Federer, who was estimated to be earning $52.7 million annually. A Swiss publication recently wrote that Federer was earning around $60 million per year.
The Hollywood Reporter and Variety recently published reports that IMG is being prepared to be sold.
